
Laura is from New York City but now lives in Atlanta with her husband, and their two children. She received her BFA from the School of Visual Arts and began her career illustrating for various editorial clients, some of which include: The New York Times Book Review, The National Law Journal and New York Magazine. There was a long stint as a computer artist in the men’s design department of Polo/Ralph Lauren, where she picked up the computer skills to make a seamless transition from traditional media to working digitally in Painter and PhotoShop.
She is represented in the children's book market by Bernadette Szost at PortfolioSolutions and in licensing by Ruth Levison at LevisonDesigns.
